How long does it take to Receive the Deed and be able to start selling property?
How long does it take to Receive the Deed and be able to start selling property?
Solution
The time from start to finish, depends largely on the county you are dealing with. When a purchase is made from Landbank, after the funds are good, within one week the deeds are prepared for recording and sent in to the respective county recorder’s office. Then as soon as they receive the deed—it’s recorded and returned immediately to the buyer,—turnaround would only be approximately one week. Other counties may take 2-3 week turnaround time. As soon as the buyer receives the deed in his name then they can start selling.
